My summer adventure!!!

What I did on my summer adventure was pretty much what I enjoy doing in my free time. If I was able to do this as a job, I would enjoy almost everyday of the rest of my life. I went camping for a long period of time. Well at least anything more than a day or two is what I consider and long period of time. 

The great thing about my camping adventure is that I was able to spend all of my time with my dog Gunny. We were not the only ones camping. A couple of friends of mine were there as well. Luke and Janeen were with me, they are fellow veterans as well (only from the Army though). 

The great place that we camped was at Red River Gorge in eastern Kentucky area. After hiking all over the gorge, I definitely decided that I am way out of shape. The hiking was still fun though. We also repelled, rock climbed, and swam while we were there. Like stated above, if I could make a job out of camping and being outdoors, I would be extremely happy. Too bad though, I had to return to reality and work, work, work the entire rest of the summer. I can't wait to see where I am at next summer.
